We’re an action firewall, not a data business. The only data we ever hold is what you type into the register-interest form. We use it to reply to you, we keep it only while your enquiry is live, and one email deletes the lot. This site never touches your systems: filling in a form gives us zero access to your agents, your code, or your infrastructure. The free scanner runs on your own machine — a default scan is fully local and read-only and sends nothing off your machine; the optional --ai tier uses your own local Claude CLI.

We’re an action firewall, not a data business. This page fits on one screen because we collect almost nothing.
What we collect
Only what you type into the register-interest form — your name, email, and anything you optionally add. No trackers, no data brokers, no scraping.
How we use it
To reply to you and gauge fit for the paid tiers. That’s it. Never sold, never shared with advertisers, never spammed.
How we hold it
Securely, and only for as long as your enquiry is live. And to be clear: this site never touches your systems. The free scanner runs on your own machine — a default scan is fully local and read-only and sends nothing off your machine; the optional --ai tier uses your own local Claude CLI.
Delete it any time.
Email us and it’s gone — your name, your email, your note, the lot. No forms, no retention excuses, no “up to 30 business days”. One message, one deletion.

Who we are. Hermes Shield is operated by Friday Research Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales, company number 16931370, registered office 20 Wenlock Road, London, England, N1 7GU. We are the data controller for the information described here. Privacy contact: [email protected].
Lawful basis. We process your enquiry details in our legitimate interests in running and improving our enquiry and waitlist service (UK GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Product-update emails are sent only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link.
Who processes it for us. We don’t sell or rent your data. A small number of processors act on our instructions: Resend (notification email; US), Cloudflare (hosting + privacy analytics; US), Plausible (privacy analytics, where enabled; EU), and Google Ads (server-side offline conversion matching via the gclid; US). Transfers outside the UK rely on UK/EU adequacy or Standard Contractual Clauses / the UK IDTA.
Your rights. You can ask us to access, correct, delete, export or restrict your data, or object to a use, and withdraw marketing consent any time — email [email protected]. If you’re not satisfied you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk). We don’t make automated decisions about you, and this site isn’t intended for under-18s.
